Collaboration

We are committed to working collaboratively with patients, employees, and medical staff. Our seven MSK radiologists, five neuroradiologists, six general and mammography radiologists, nuclear radiologists, and body radiologists work hard to establish and maintain a high level of service to our customers and routinely evaluate their satisfaction levels to continuously improve our service to them.

24/7/365 Coverage

We will meet your staffing requirements by partnering with your current radiologists to round out services. Via teleradiology we can provide specialty reports 24/7, and final reads during off hours and weekends…all with exceptional turnaround times.

We provide temporary on site coverage with our radiologists as needed due to vacations or turnover. This provides continuity of service since these are the same radiologists that cover off hours and weekends.

We partner with the current radiology group for the purpose of maintaining positive relations with the medical staff and ensuring community support.

For full coverage we’ll work with you to develop a staffing plan based on your needs.

Results Communication

Using only Columbus Radiology radiologists we provide final reports 24/7/365. With our Results Communication service we communicate positives and requested wet reads within one hour via your choice of communications from Columbus Radiology:

  • Requested wet reads—called to the physician office at time of completion.
  • Critical results – peer-to-peer conversation between radiologist and referring physician.
  • Positive results/pertinent negatives—unexpected findings (above and beyond wet reads and criticals) can be communicated to physician via their preferred method of communication. Expediting results that we know will require physician intervention is a priority, whether you have requested a wet read or not. Columbus Radiology’s goal is to provide timely results that allow you to give your patients the best care possible.
  • Radiologist available by calling one toll free number. Via this number we will connect you with the radiologist who read your report or with a radiologist within their specialty.

At Columbus Radiology, we make it our business to provide you with access to the insight of our radiologists. When you need direct consultation, whether it’s an explanation of terminology, an answer to a question, or a full consultation regarding your patient’s procedure – our radiologists are available 24/7/365.

Quality

We take quality and safety very seriously. We have a continuous quality improvement (CQI) process in place, which allows us to provide optimal and consistent image quality. Our imaging protocols are tailored so that radiation dose is minimized. We work with our referring physicians to determine which modality and protocol can best answer their question, giving patients the answers they need. We provide standardized reports across all modalities and will provide customized reports as needed.

Education is constant and essential in our practice. Our peer review process holds our radiologists accountable, allows for ongoing education, and ultimately elevates the level of clinical quality. We have motivated physicians who attend conferences and learn new techniques and then put those skills into practice.

Our practice follows the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

For your medical staff we can provide CME programs and personal consultations.

Information Technology

We provide extremely reliable radiology IT solutions for hospitals. We can integrate with your current systems or provide you with a complete information system solution including RIS, PACS and voice recognition dictation.

Our technology partner, Affiliated Resources Group, is a Microsoft™ Gold Certified Partner with extensive experience working in healthcare and other large, corporate environments. Having project managers with hospital system IT experience on staff will make the integration process easier for you and your team.

And with a help desk operating 24/7 in support of over 50 clients, downtime is virtually eliminated. It’s a professional team that knows your business and offers real-world IT solutions.
